For me, Primal Scream is the biggest attraction. It's been many years since I've seen them - I didn't even know they were still around!!! What bands are other people most looking forward to?

Theres a HUGE fan base behind The Mars Volta, a few people started a movement here last year and it grew pretty big and they are headlining this year.

Personally my favorites are Mando Diao, Primal Scream, The Mars Volta and Thievery Corporation.
I'm expecting great shows by Two Gallants, Editors and Au Revoir Simone, also Caribou in the after-hours.

I also believe the portuguese bands will be awsome (Wraygunn, X-Wife, Bunnyranch).

Yeah, it certainly does look a good line up. Seems strange that it starts at 6pm every day though! UK festivals usually go through the whole day. What do people get up to in the afternoons there? Just hanging out, I guess. Or is there anything else going on?

there's a spot near the camping called "Jazz na relva" (jazz on the grass) that starts near 4 pm I gess...

You can hear some pretty interesting stuff there... normally is very interactive and even people how don't really know how to handle an instrument can go on stage and put on quite a show... I've seen it happen...

There are also movie sessions where you can see some music-related movies, documentaries or even concerts.

There are yoga lessons (never been there) and there's poetry reading on that small jazz stage too (but i guess poetry won't be any good for you ^^).

There's also a small river and a big grassy area where the jazz concerts take place and where everyone rests and sunbathes etc. it's a really friendly environment, everyone's just relaxing.

Yeah, I have to admit, it does sound great. The pictures on the website make it look very chilled indeed.
