Greetings people. Had a couple of questions. We were thinking of coming down for the festival this summer. Were wondering how family friendly it is. Have two small children that we have taken to festivals every year since they were born - some are more family friendly than others. Have there been many other young children in previous years? Does the campsite have washing facilities, etc? Any help appreciated. Cheers.

first of all welcome!ive seen small children (not many tho). pdc is the friendliest spot on earth (at least during that week). it has showers, portable wcs and locker rooms near the river (they are not that big , so ull probably have to wait in line to use it) and sinks where you can wash ur dishes and other things.

Another quickie - Camping area looks pretty tight from the aerial photos on the website. Is there limited space? D'you need to get there very early to be sure of a pitch?

if you don't bother awake with the sunrise in the early morning, you can always get some space to put your tent anytime you want.. but i recommend you to go there 2 days before the festival for the best seat

you can, but it's a risk. Why don't you buy them before?It would be more expensive but it may be better, 'cos this way you'll know you have the tickets for you.

this is the biggest/greatest edition of this festival ever, i think!

Normally a lot of people buy tickets at the entrance, but this year a lot of people will go to the festival and it's better to buy tickets before the festival.
