Wow - from what I can find on the internet, this starts the day after Paredes de Coura finishes! It seems Portugal in August is just one long fiesta! Saw also that the Dead Kennedys are playing there - and it's free, I think also?

it's only 8€ for the 4 days and the camping site is very good with a river next to it. It's a very small festival but with a good line-up this year.

It's not a mistake mate, it's a bargain!

It's a small festival with only portuguese bands, but trust me, most of them are really very good!!

Dead Kennedys are not coming to Carviçais this year! Here's the festival wsite:

there are only portuguese bands acting, but there are some of the finest portuguese bands!

unfortanly it's in 2 and 3 of august, so impossible go be in both paredes de coura and carviçais this year

you don't need to be sorry ...it's normal to misunderstand something when it's not in your native language ...but still, now you know that there's another cool festival in Portugal and even better, it's a free festival (it's free!!weeeee)!! Maybe next year you can check it out (to be honest I've never been there, but I heard from friends of mine that it's really something!!)
