Mão Morta

Recognized as one of the most important bands in the Portuguese rock scene, Mão Morta marked their position since its beginning in 1985 with alternative sounds of experimentation, obscure lyrics and a characteristic intensity and black humour. From rock to punk, metal, industrial and experimental, Mão Morta’s sound can be difficult to categorize, but its place in the history of Portuguese music is well defined. To the 25th edition of Vodafone Paredes de Coura the band brings the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the edition of "Mutantes S.21", released in 1992. The fourth album of the band from Braga, considered by many the best of the group, was responsible, among many themes, for the song "Budapeste (Sempre a Rock & Rollar)", one of the best known musics of the mythical band.
